2024 HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

• Terpsichore is an advocate of higher education and is proud to support their dancers on and off the stage.

• Any dancer pursuing a post-secondary education can apply to receive $1,000.00 toward their tuition. 

• Eligibility: any dancer with a registered solo at any Terpsichore event in 2024 who is enrolled in a college/university institution as recognized by Terpsichore for the 2023 Fall and/or 2025 Winter Semester(s).

• How To Apply: eligible dancers must write a 250-500 word essay outlining what dance has done for them -OR- eligible dancers must write a 250-500 word essay outlining their dance journey and how it got them to where they are now.

• Specifications: personal pronouns are acceptable. IMPORTANT: Be sure to include your full name, studio name, event attended, institution and program enrolled in on the first page of submission. Export submission to a PDF and email it info@terpsichore.ca.

• Submission Deadline: June 1, 2024

• Terpsichore will review all submissions and chose one (1) recipient. 

• Please note: by submitting an essay, you agree that Terpsichore may post a section of your scholarship essay if selected, as shown with past recipients below.

• Verification of enrolment is required from the selected recipient in the form of: unofficial transcript or documentation from the institution that confirms attendance in the program.
